The Base Company is our in house competitive dance company comprised of talented kids aged between 5 and 17. These dancers compete both regionally and nationally. They also perform at various events locally to gain life experiences while honing their performance skills and confidence.
Our dancers have been seen on Lifetime's 'Dance Moms', Harlem Globetrotters, Town Square holiday performances, The Nevada Blind Society Gala, Dancescape LA, 'Rubies' Fashion Show and assisting at dance conventions.
We hold a Company audition every summer for our new season.
You may just show up to the audition but we do recommend training with us prior so we can see you in class.
We look for dancers who are team players, hard workers and respectful of their instructors, directors and fellow dancers.
If you are not accepted upon your first audition, we hope you stay focused on your goal, train hard for another year and try again the following year. This is the kind of drive and spirit we love in a Base Company member.
The Base Company began in 2012 and has soon become a regionally and nationally ranked competitive team.
We are focused on training each and every Company dancer to become strong technicians, outstanding performers, confident humans and to hold accountability for their team and their work.
We have taken many awards in choreography, technique, costuming and entertainment. We have seen many of our groups, duos and soloists take regional and national titles consistently from season to season.
In our short history, The Base Company has had 12 routines nominated for the Industry Dance Awards between 2015 & 2020. The Base has been awarded the ADCC Studio Excellence Award twice.
